Faculty members from the iSchool at University of Missouri, School of Information Science & Learning Technologies (SISLT) will be participating in the iConference 2014, March 4–7 in Berlin, Germany. The annual iConference, hosted by the iSchools organization, brings together scholars, researchers, and information professionals from around the world. The conference theme this year is “Breaking Down Walls: Culture-Context-Computing.”

Lanika Ruzhitskaya, a postdoctoral fellow in the University of Missouri Department of Physics and Astronomy, will deliver this month’s “Cosmic Conversations” lecture. Her talk, “The Universe on your Computer,” looks at the capabilities and underlying mechanisms of imaging technology.
