I am happy to send to you an internship posting for summer 2014 at the United Nations Archives and Records Management Section in New York. We encourage any student involved in graduate work on the topics of archives, records management, information technology or a related subject to apply. ALA seeks candidates for 2014 Google policy summer fellowship – DEADLINE 4/14/14

For the seventh consecutive year, the American Library Association is pleased to participate in the Google Policy Fellows program for 2014. For the summer of 2014, the selected fellow will spend 10 weeks in residence at the ALA Washington Office to learn about national policy and complete a major project.

Faculty members from the iSchool at University of Missouri, School of Information Science & Learning Technologies (SISLT) will be participating in the iConference 2014,  March 4–7 in Berlin, Germany. The annual iConference, hosted by the iSchools organization, brings together scholars, researchers, and information professionals from around the world. The conference theme this year is “Breaking Down Walls: Culture-Context-Computing.”
