The Webster Groves Public Library underwent a significant renovation that was completed in December 2012, during which the library’s space was nearly doubled. Changes include tripling the size of the Children’s Library, which now includes computer-based early literacy stations, and the addition of a public meeting room with cutting-edge audiovisual equipment. The tour, given by Tom Cooper, WGPL Director, includes behind-the-scenes information about library operations and workflow.

We will meet at the library’s meeting room at 6pm. Our event begins with an optional dinner (box meals from Art of Entertaining consisting of a sandwich, side, and dessert of your choice — specify below — and bottled water). Following the meal is a short business meeting that includes the election of officers, then the tour.

PARKING: Parking is freely available in the lot just west of/across the street from the library.

If you are interested in attending this event, please print and mail the form on the flier (instructions for doing so on flier) by Friday, May 9, 2014. (If you are interested in attending the event but not having dinner, feel free to e-mail your registration information to
