SISLT is excited to welcome Dr. Sarah Buchanan to the LIS faculty. She comes from the University of Texas at Austin, where she has completed her Ph.D. in Information Studies at the School of Information and has worked as an archivist in the Department of Classics.

Statement on LIS Program Advising and Practicum Changes

The School of Information Science & Learning Technologies announces two structural changes to the Library and Information Science Master’s degree program. These changes will allow the LIS Program to take better advantage of local relationships with libraries and information agencies, and provide more direct and consistent student service.

Dissolution of Cooperative Agreements with UNO and MSU

The School of Information Science & Learning Technologies announces that the Cooperative Agreements between the University of Missouri School of Information Science & Learning Technologies and the University of Nebraska-Omaha will be dissolved as of August 1, 2016. The Cooperative Agreement between the LIS program and Missouri State University will be dissolved as of May 31, 2016.
