Jenny Bossaller was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure.
Bossaller has research and teaching interests in information policy, history, and related social and technological phenomena. Her current research includes material heritage projects with the Missouri Humanities Council and with the School of Nursing about communication networks in health care.
During her time at MU, she has been an active and engaged scholar, receiving an IMLS grant in 2013. Additionally, she has led three study abroad trips — to the U.K., Ireland, and South Africa.
She is currently working with Kathleen de la Pena McCook on a new edition of Introduction to Public Librarianship.
Bossaller serves on the Executive Council of the Missouri Library Association, is Member at Large of the ALA Library History Round Table, and is on the Program Committee for ALISE 2017.
