The iSchool’s Heather Lea Moulaison traveled in August to beautiful Cape Town, South Africa, to present at the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) World Library and Information Conference (WLIC) 2015 General Conference and Assembly.

Dr. Moulaison co-presented a pre-conference paper on digital preservation and the cloud and co-presented a conference paper on discovery systems and standards. She also collaborated with LIS faculty Chris Le Beau to co-present “US Libraries as Publishers: Status and Concerns.” Besides presenting, Dr. Moulaison attended the General Assembly of the International Association of French-Speaking Librarians and Documentalists (AIFBD), where she is an elected member of the 9-member international council.
